The "Bajio Mexicano"The Bajio comprises the plain located south of the "Sierra de Guanajuato", at the center of Mexico.
It distinguishes because of the agricultural labors highly improved, with annual rains about 700 mm average (one of the best in the country) being one of the more important regions of the country because of its great economic, industrial, tecnological, etc. development.
The major urban concentrations of the Bajio are considered: León, Irapuato and Celaya, in Guanajuato's State; Querétaro in Querétaro's State; Tepatitlan in Jalisco, Zamora in Michoacán. |
